Description
Tokcham was created by chocolate enthusiasts Bénédicte de Chambure and Éric de Tocqueville. In 2008, they discovered the village of Ngo Ekogo in Cameroon, a region known for its rich cocoa heritage. Inspired by its fertile land, they acquired a 3.5-hectare plot with a few cocoa trees, marking the start of their journey.
With the expertise of agronomist Clémence Rivoire and fermentation specialist Aristide Tchemchoua, they expanded their plantation using sustainable agroforestry methods, following the principles of the Club des Chocolatiers Engagés.
Today, each cocoa pod is carefully hand-selected by a dedicated cocoa farmer, ensuring only the highest quality for their chocolate.

Slightly underwhelmed by this bean-to-bar chocolate. I had high hopes given the cocoa is from Cameroon. I found the chocolate a bit dry and slightly too acidic in flavor.
